I was told some time ago this was a Dennis Dorchester with Alexander body, but I don't have a definite id for it. |

Indeed, it was new to Central SMT as their fleet number DD10 in April 1984. Central took fifteen Dorchesters, five with Alexander TC (coach) bodywork, another five TE (express)-bodied and the remaining with with TS (service) bodywork, a type specified by and unique to Central. This was a TE. By the time that Trainspotting was filmed, Central had merged with Kelvin Scottish to form Kelvin Central Buses, and A110 UYS had become their 2190. |
