This scene was a reenactment of the disappearance and murder of Christopher Dale "Rent-a-Kill" Flannery who was last seen by wife on the morning of the 9th May 1985. There were many theories to who killed him: . He was murdered in a car by corrupt NSW detectives as it was claimed by Arthur "Neddy" Smith that he saw Flannery in the car with detectives that Smith knew. . He was murdered by NSW Detective Sergeant Roger Rogerson. . He was murdered by Lenny McPherson with a Uzi 9mm at George Freeman's house with Freeman's presence. . He was murdered by Stan "The Man" Smith at Freeman's house in the presence of George Freeman. . He wanted revenge on those were responsible for the murder of his mate, Michael "Melbourne Mick" Sayers and they murdered him in a pre-emptive strike. It was also believed that after his murder, that he was dumped in the Bay. It was also later believed that his friend, Laurence "Laurie" Prendergast who disappeared from his home in Heidelberg West on the 23rd August 1985 came up to Sydney to find those responsible for Flannery's disappearance but was killed by them in a pre-emptive strike. -- Last edit: 2022-02-02 05:06:17 |
