If he fails, he must forfeit his priceless 1956 Jaguar to Kathryn and suffer the shame of defeat.

Note the LARGE bumpers, compared to a 120. The grill is different, too, as is rear trim down the trunk (not on a 120), tail lights, trunk lid, etc. I've not seen the film (I understand it is a teenie-bopper version of Dangerous Liaisons), but in the comments it is referred to as "...his priceless 1956 Jaguar ..." I won't get into the "priceless" part, but the 120 was discontinued in 1954. No offence intended, but your sight was used as a reference during a discussion recently. I was surprised (disappointed) that someone else hadn't picked up on it. Could this be the same car (the builder is) as in Money Talks? The members picked up on that one. Happy Motoring!

dsl ◊ 2013-06-13 13:18	HYH xxx was a genuine London series Jan-Oct 47, so a year too early for even XK120 (and much too early for a MkI as a potential donor). Possibly a 1947 number as cherished transfer to a later Jag which then became a donor, but no means of pursuing what HYH 752 started as or where it went.
