Correct ID. Note it is a 2-door coupe and a Daytona per trim at base of "C" pillar. Only in '65 did the Daytona come this way. Also, '64 Daytonas had the STUDEBAKER name in all caps completely across the trunklid which this one does not. There SHOULD be small nameplates on the rear panel above the bumper but same appears to be missing on this car. -- Last edit: 2010-04-06 19:06:47 |

Model origin USA, built in Canada, made for USA. All 1965 MY cars (excluding Avanti II) were made in last Studebaker's factory in Hamilton (Ontario, CDN). |

If the Origin is USA it's built to US specs, no need to mention the "Made for". |

Yes. All production was in Canada after the December 1963 South Bend shutdown. The Avanti II was separated from Studebaker after 1964. A completely different company built it. |
