Looks like a Wilcox body. |

It looks more like the Cloud reg'd NVV222M, coachbuilt by Denis Duffy of Dundalk (this is a mistake, see below) and which appears in "Thank You for Smoking" on this web site and on other web sites. It is located in California. The 5 Wilcox hearses that I know of are in the UK. -- Last edit: 2011-11-01 07:46:17 |

Stupid me - you're absolutely right. It's the Californian Duffy hearse again (which pretty much resembles the Wilcox style). |

Sorry guys but this particular famous model that appears in different episodes of different series also on this forum IS a Wilcox body...the wreath rails, the styling of the rear tailgate/lights etc are pure Wilcox... |

Mr Hearse UK is correct indeed. I quoted "Junkman" because he seemed to know what he was talking about (/vehicle_70549-Rolls-Royce-Silver-Cloud-II-1962.html) but he was wrong. I've just checked a Wilcox catalogue photo and it's a perfect twin. |
