Looks like a conversion of an Austin Eight van. |

Not an Austin Eight but a 1947 Austin Ten Van [GV1] based on the Ten Saloon [GS1]. Headlamp, side-light positions are different also the Ten's van side moulding and roof form without the seam match. |

Hi we are GB bike Leathers of the uk. we have a 1945-1947 Austin 10 Van as pictured above but in original barn find condition. We have seen your picture on this movie website and pleased to see another picture as we have found that this van is very rare to find and difficult to find any pictures. The year and model has been authenticated by the Austin 10 owners club and ready to register. We were wondering how much this van would be worth once restored, we believe that these vans were limited to 3,000 only made in the uk. we wondered if you could get in touch with us regarding any relevant information on this van.? we would welcome your comments on this subject. hope you still use this website. Please could you get in touch with us on on our email address and do you know of any others who have such a van? bernard@gbbikeleathers.com kind regards Gail Willoughby and Bernard Woolmer (23rd Jan 2015) -- Last edit: 2015-01-23 23:37:19 |
