![]() New Make: well-known as Biscúter, it come from an original design of french engineer Gabriel Voisin. The name Biscúter comes from the original BiScooter. And as in spanish you write like you pronounce the words, it was easier to say Biscuter. The Biscuter was well-known as 'Zapatilla' (slipper). http://www.autopasion18.com/HISTORIA-BISCUTER.htm http://motormania.pcweb.es/biscuter.htm http://es.wikipedia.org/wiki/Bisc%C3%BAter |

Surprise!!. So the maker is wrong (we must to change it). The maker was Autonacional, S.A., and the model (with its variations) was (only) the 'Biscúter'. We have Moto Vespa and not Piaggio Vespa; Seat and not Fiat; DKW-IMOSA and not only DKW, Authi and not Leyland,.... http://grupo7.com/microcoches/biscuter.htm http://www.vehiculoclasico.es/es/galerias/nuestros/biscuter.htm Models: Biscúter 100: the 1st. 1953-56, seat for 2 persons, 2'56m long and 240 Kg. Biscúter 200 A: 1957-59. Steel body, 295 Kg and reverse gear. Seat even for '3'(?)(I doubt that) Biscúter 200 C: 1957-59. Comercial 'Rubia'. Woody body for 4 persons or 2 + load. 2'75m long and 300 Kg. Biscúter 200 I: 1958-59. Only Comercial. Woody body. 2'95m. long and 320 Kg. Biscuter 200 F: 1958-59. The last in 1958. A plastic body coupe. Called 'Pegasin' because it looked like some Pegasos trucks. Edited: in you previuos link /vehicles.php?make=Bisc%FAter&model= there are 2 Biscúter 200 R, well, as we can see a R model never was produced. -- Last edit: 2009-07-08 13:54:04 |
