Hi, Your link is to a Praga. I dont think it is a Praga or Tatra. I am suggesting it is a Skoda. Similar to car on same page as you mention but photo up ! Possibly marginally earlier. Regards vintman |

Sorry ,but the comment of this pic was really "Skoda 645" , and i find exactly the same pic on another site and the legend was "Praga Alfa 1928 !!!!! See these pics of Skoda 645, the front bumper seems different http://cdn.fotocommunity.com/photos/14304038.jpg http://www.bohemiaevents.com/UserFiles/Image/Skoda-645.jpg http://img.motor-klassik.de/media/mdb/209010/Skoda-645.jpg |

Because of the slim shape of the front bumper , I would rather go for a 4-cylinder car , the nearest I can come by is a 1928/1929 Skoda type 422 1,2 l .All pictures I have seen of Skoda 645 show two bladed bumpers and those cars are much bigger. The first link by Bruno 58 shows a surviving Praga Alfa 15 series 1,5 l of 1929 still registered in the Veteran Car Club of Prague. |

I think it's a 1929 422 Look these pics http://i.idnes.cz/08/051/cl/FDV22dd77_174040_1432159.jpg http://www.lakovani-veteranu.cz/images/galerie/Skoda%20422%20002.jpg http://www.skodamuseum.dk/pressestof/Skoda%20422%204-dors.jpg |

Hi, My thoughts are that it is a largish car. It still seems to be quite big despite being some distance from the camera. The numberplate is relatively small in relation to the car when compared to your photo http://www.skodamuseum.dk/pressestof/Skoda%20422%204-dors.jpg . Also, it has a split screen which I don’t think 422 ever had? I am not sure either way! Regards Vintman |

The low part of radiator cowl has simple-straight shape, indicating R-series. Not rounded alike 422. There's circular Skoda logo on grille, another R-series sign. I'd say 1929 Skoda 4R. -- Last edit: 2020-07-21 16:09:31 |
