The other car is a 1973-1976 Ford Torino. Ron Paul, the name on the truck, is a politician from Texas, where this movie was filmed. He ran for president in 1988, but I can't figure out why his name would be on a truck in 1991, since it seems he wasn't holding public office at the time or campaigning. |

The movie was shot in 1989, so it's not a stretch that this truck would still be around from the 1988 campaign. Wide release was 1991. |
