http://www.mjworld.net/news/2009/07/30/moonwalker-car-for-sale/ $100.000USD ...even the King of Pop couldn't get Lancia to cough up its original Zero, so a replica was built by movie car maker Andy Saunders.........The wedgy Zero was designed by none other than car designer extraordinaire Marcello Gandini. -- Last edit: 2009-09-09 13:47:40 |

As one can read (thrice !) in the above link of Vilero, "the car [is] a Stratos Zero", not only a "Zero". Wouldn't it be better to rename it "1970 Lancia Stratos Zero Replica", so it could be found with the (for now single) Lancia Stratos Zero of "Too Fast To Race" and within the Lancia Stratos pages (the Stratos Zero of "Too Fast To Race" is in page 2/2) ? (I'm French, and never sure of the use of "could", "would" and other "should". Please help yourself and put the right one where needed, if I misused one of them :-) ) -- Last edit: 2014-02-23 02:34:06 |

https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=p2AgUudfcQA 4 exhaust pipes and flat disc wheels are inaccurate - the real one had dished alloys and only double exhausts on left. Its flying abilities are unknown. Was Copper when presented at 1970 Turin show, repainted silver in late 70s (so was silver in 1988) then restored to copper in 2000. |

Many of the links above have died, but a passing magazine ref says the replica used oily bits from a Fiat X1/9. |
