I have no doubt. In fact most of the general public would not even know the make, let alone the rarity. (Of course, we must admit it is a very obscure car. It's possible even in its time, most would not recognize it.) |

I wouldn't doubt that for a second, Commander 57. I recently had an encounter with a guy who had a '60 Studebaker Hawk that broke down in the middle of traffic. When he called AAA and they asked him to identify the vehicle, the operator had no idea what he was talking about. They actually thought he was referring to a scooter or a go-kart. Google Image searched the car. I can see that. If you took off the front bumper and grille, the two would be nearly indistinguishable. |
