This is the continuation model 12/4 from the 1930s (1931-33 or maybe even later??) which was called a Heavy 12/4 after the introduction in about 1931 of a new lighter model also called 12/4. |

AXL464 also seen in... Atonement Foyle's War The Good Shepherd Head in the Clouds. This series of taxis were registered by the dealers, Mann and Overton, between January to March 1934 It looks to me to be a Jones bodied Austin 12/4 'Low Loader'. |
