dsl ◊ 2011-03-29 13:43	4x4peru's comment made me think about this badging and use of XK-E name on imcdb. As far as I know there was never any XK-E badging anywhere on a US E-type, so it was only a marketing name. Up to 1964 there was no specific E-type badging either, but after the 4.2 introduction in Oct 64 all cars - US and elsewhere had - E-type boot badging. So was XK-E name used in any way after Oct 64, given that it would contradict the badging? Should we abandon using XK-E?? If so, for which cars/series/dates? -- Last edit: 2011-03-29 13:43:36
