look like a very rare 1945-49 EMW 321 Cabriolet 4-Sitzer |

??? .It is a strange car here.It appears to have the body , hood louvres and handle and bumpers of the prewar BMW 321 4 seater cabriolet. But the headlights are integrated in the catwalks as on the EMW 327 2+2 Cabriolet whose production started in 1948 .According to Eberhard Kittler 's Typenkompass book of the DDR- Personenwagen 1945-1990 ,the Awtowelo BMW 321 built in Eisenach DDR from 1945 to 1950 was strictly built as a 2-door limousine similar to the prewar BMW 321 limousine , not as a Cabriolet .And in any case those had high placed free-standing headlights as was the case on the prewar BMW's.So this is obviously a car that has been modified. |

I would say this is pre-war, as postwar imports into Romania are very, very rare - betwen 1947 and 1953 it was only really a handful of American cars, Skodas, ZIMs and ZISs which entered the country. I would also say this looks very much like a BMW 335 Authenrieth. http://www.madle.org/og05bmw335aut39.jpg |
