The car beside the A-Team van? It's a '75-'80 MGB (I think the black bumpers came around for '75). Also, it's a convertible, not a coupe. |

I think this one is a 1980 Special Edition? I don't think the regular B's of this generation had that front spoiler. Paging dsl! |

Yes - the spoiler came at the end of B production in 79-80, but not exclusive to the run-out editions in US or UK. But this black livery with silver side tapes and starfish alloys![]() was the US “Limited Edition” with about 6,682 made (so Limited is bit of an exaggeration) from mid-79 into 80, all roadsters as they'd stopped US GTs in early 76. UK got the LE with 420 roadsters in Bronze Metallic with gold side stripes and 580 GTs in Pewter metallic with grey stripes. This batch was completed in October 1980 but held back until January 1981; BL retained the last of each as notionally the final Bs ever made and they are now part of the Gaydon collection. However the absolutely final factory-made B was an unpublicised white US-spec roadster bound for Japan. |

Rjluna just added another one in his latest batch, from a junkyard, if you want to take a look |
