![]() By the way, we have wrong the earliest T613 model year. In 1973 and 1974 Tatra assembled preproduction cars only. Realy series production and selling began 1975 when T603 released lines. |

Weren't these quite big numbers (quite big like for the general production of the 613)? And weren't these cars sold? -- Last edit: 2010-02-11 16:50:03 |

I'm trying to find any numbers of production year by year. Negative as well. I found only official main export markets for T613/T700: Soviet Union - 612 pcs. North Korea - 213 pcs. East Germany - 202 pcs. Yugoslavia - 199 pcs. Slovenia (1992-1998 only) - 82 pcs. Cuba - 73 pcs. Hungary - 15 pcs. Bulgaria - 10 pcs. Exported numbers: 1975 - 1, 1976 - 15, 1977 - 51, 1978 - 202, 1979 - 317, 1980 - 12, 1981 - 81, 1982-1998 - 977. The assembly of "information series" cars began in September 1973. That's why most pages give 1975 as 1st year of production T613, few 1974. Tatra made about 11,000 T613s only in 1975-1995 period. The sale is wrong word here. T613s were firstly dispatch to authority departments, diplomatic outposts, secret service & militia main commands, TV, some fire brigades, to every state-controlled places where fast or (and) luxury car are required. Private person had to wait in long rank if want simply buy T613 for 182,000 CZK (4-5 Skodas equivalent). |

Another proof: any T613 registered firstly before 1975. http://t613.wz.cz/registr.html |

Convincing - done. Perhaps among the cars reg. in 1975 were also those made before this year. Indeed in some old (pre 1975) magaiznes, which I saw, they had rather temporary plates. -- Last edit: 2010-02-12 00:54:08 |
