Yup, exactly 1959+ Ferrari 250 GT Cabriolet 2a Serie by Pininfarina. |

Nope. Made in same year 250 GT Spyder California and 250 GT Cabriolet are different cars with different characters. Cabriolet is larger, luxury gran turismo. Spyder California is much sporty, spartan car. Best spotted difference is no air outlets in Cabriolet front fender. 1957 250 GT Cabriolet 1a Serie: http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/File:Hockenheimring_Michael_Schumacher.jpg 1959 250 GT Cabriolet 1a Serie: Link to "www.luxurylaunches.com" 1959 250 GT LWB Spyder California Competizione: http://www.sportscarmarket.com/img/content/1104/mo07_r333_161v8.jpg 1959 250 GT Spyder California: Link to "image3.examiner.com" -> 1960 250 GT Cabriolet 2a Serie <- Link to "www.motorsnaps.com" 1961 250 GT Spyder California with hardtop: http://upload.wikimedia.org/wikipedia/commons/1/1d/1961-ferrari-rc.jpg That's why this one is 1959 or better "1960 model year" 250 GT Cabriolet 2. They used two 250GT S.2 Cabriolets for the filming; a nice one for static display scenes and one with modified nose for the driving scenes. |
