As the hardtop is a removable aftermarket accessory, should it form part of the description? By all means mention it in the comments. -- Last edit: 2010-02-22 21:23:14 |

Well it's either the aim of Extra-Info field ![]() we do it for some very distinctive accessories ,as part of a body, but I can put ( ) if you prefer. |

This "hardtop" actually does more harm to the appearance of the car than the infamous 70s US-spec rubber-bumpers did. |

I agree. Why not buy a B GT with a fabric sunroof? |

At the time the car was built only the open topped sports car was available. The MGB GT was introduced in October 1965. Registration 971WHN is approximately from June 1964. (???XHN series started in July 1964.) I agree this hardtop always looked ugly to me but many owners must have liked its looks (or advantages) at the time. Also wasn't the hard top removable allowing different summer-winter use? -- Last edit: 2010-02-23 11:52:51 |

ITC Entertainment got plenty of use out of this old MGB. Here it is later wearing reflective # plates: /vehicle_21086-MG-B-ADO23-1964.html |
