In some shots, the grille was just barely visible. It was clearly a Chevrolet, but I was not sure if the grille was the 1975-1976 version of the 1977-1978 version (the headlight bezels did not wrap around the lower turn signals, eliminating 1979 as a possibility). However, I think it might have had the grille of the former. |

It has the 1977-1979 grille. I remember reading an article somewhere that this was one of the same Suburbans used in Crazy Heart: /vehicle_316184-Chevrolet-Suburban-C-10-1977.html I can't confirm this but I suppose it would be possible. |

The color arrangement is reversed. The two-tone Suburban in Crazy Heart has a dark main color used for the body, with light secondary color used in the center. This two-tone Suburban has a light main color used for the body, with dark secondary color used in the center. Both do have the polished metal body side bright work moldings. |

It might be heavily modified so that it even survives severral roll-overs without being unable to drive afterwards. |
