JALE any other frames which show the roof section ?? Bucyrus Erie 15 had quite a distinct roof and we would know it for sure but it does llok like it like Koehringman suggested -- Last edit: 2013-11-18 16:03:46 |

I think this needs to be renamed, since it appears this scene was filmed in UK this is a Ruston-Bucyrus and thanks to new frame this looks like the smaller 10 RB model http://www.cheffins.co.uk/assets/catalogues/lots/214/292.jpg |

Seems like too many American cars for it to be filmed in the U.K. |

except 2 other construction vehicles are britsh I think this was filmed at Pinewood studio, don't forget Supergirl was filemd there too but also full of american cars, specially the excavator scene /movie.php?id=88206 guess they didn't bother about construction vehicles to be american too -- Last edit: 2015-01-14 18:24:17 |

You're telling me they shipped a bunch of American cars and American junk to the U.K. just to be in a movie? This could have been filmed in Canada. |

see from 0.25 https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=S9hFfQyBT50 that whole scene looks like an american town with american cars yet was done in Pinewood studios where they reconstructed an american town , only the excavator is french Poclain so it is possible they created a junkyard too , I ID this britsh Priestman , there is also a brtish HY-MAC excavator and this thing could be a Ruston Bucyrus too -- Last edit: 2015-01-14 18:43:00 |

The Supergirl town is documented on IMDb, but it is documented on IMDb that there was Superman III filming done in the U.S.A. and Canada. So, why move an American junkyard when there's one at Calgary? -- Last edit: 2015-01-14 18:49:35 |

here lightninboy see the big hanger type building in the background it looks like the Pinewood studio hanger, compare to this Link to "www.pinewoodgroup.com" so the whole junkyard is just a studio backlot... -- Last edit: 2015-01-14 19:00:42 |

It does seem a little too staged to be a real junkyard, believe it or not. |
