I also remember the scene when Richard Pryor first goes to Smallville, Clark opens the door of Lana's yellow AMC Matador wagon right into Richard Pryor (i.e. he gets smacked w/ the door). Parked right next to them is a Ford Fairmont station wagon. |

The fire trucks during the chemical plant sequence are International Harvesters. Gus Gorman is seen driving a Ferrari 308 GTS Spider after embezzling over $85,000 from the company payroll. I presume Lanas car is a second-generation (1974-78) AMC Matador station wagon. Se as trouble wit an oil leak, and one cant help but wonder why Superman doesnt just lift up the front end and use is eat vision to weld te oil pan. After Gus reprograms the weather satellite, what looks like a late-1950s Cadillac is seen dropping off the hapless couple that wins the Daily Planet South American vacation. During the gas shortage, an early 1980s Ford Mustang can be seen first in line. The Webscoe helicopter delivering parts looks like a Sikorsky S-356 C-37 Mojave. |
