I think thats not M. The 968-M got no "ears" and backlight is square, not round. Just 968. |

Yes. And Wolga and Moskvich, too. The Moskvich was offered on the West German market, too (I've found randomly an advertise in a magazine from early 1971), but obviously only for a very short time around 1970. |

This is ZAZ-968E (ЗАЗ-968Э) 1971..1972. It has backlights (since 1971) and long air intake (in 1972 it was shorter) |
