Basic version due the missing third window? Front lamps and grille aren't looking original. ![]() |

I think the nickname for 2CV in Hungary was 'Kasca'. And because of the special shape of the indicators on the front fenders this looks like a 2CV built in Yugoslavia (by Tomos, later Cimos). Assembly here started in December 1960, and indeed all details visible here match with 1961/62 models, except the big headlights, the special front indicators, the small lights on the C-pillar (probably parking lights where French cars had tehre indicators). This grille was used in France during 1961-1965, but the position of the wipers shows that these are still moved by the speedometer, not yet with an electric engine, as used since m.y. 1963. |

I just see, that on the left there a part of a Land Rover is visible. Not really common in Hungaria in the 70ies, or? |

The nickname is 'Kacsa'[kʌtʃʌ] exactly, which means duck ![]() You are right Ingo, the Land Rover was even rare than Mini, 2CV or Volvo. It stands in front of a movie studio, so it's probably an accessory. |

Odd headlights (diameter 160 instead 130 mm, I suppose). "Kacsa" looks scared. ![]() |

That's fun in Hungary it was called 'kacsa' - duck, because in Poland car has its second name 'kaczka', which is spelled almost the same and means exactly the same ![]() |
