This is probably a Mercedes - Benz 170v, a (often unmodified) civilian car widely used by the German army in World War 2. Production continued even after WW2 (which is probably why some still exist ...)

It doesn't appear to be the same as the Mercedes-Benz 170v that I found....

Below the glass line on the 170v double line formed in the panels that drops after the rear wing following the rear wings curve. The one in the movie looks to continue around the back.

I think its as likely to be an American model as German, the movie was shot in the USA.

Its some type of vauxhall, 10 or 12 i think

Although the body looks similar to a Vauxhall 10 the rear wheel-arch appears to be a lot wider on the movie vehicle.

Also the Vauxhall 12 would have an extra window after the rear door I believe.

Not a Vauxhall I think, more likely to be an American sedan.
