Final assembled in Köln (Germany). According date of first show December 1998, it's definitely preproduction car! |

Somebody here has started turning these into replicas of Ferrari 430s. I think I'd rather have the original because I wouldn't have to pay twenty odd grand. Still it's better than Toyota MR2s going that way. |

A video of it from Youtube. It looks okay in the video I suppose but it is still only £1,000 worth of Ford underneath. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=yrnHFvGim2o |

Ditto with Chevrolet Impala when they reintroduced in 2000 model year. No more classic triple taillights! ![]() |

Oops, sorry rljuna2, I deleted my comment, because it was meant for the Cougar, but cl82 and Sandie were talking about the car in the Youtube. I wrote, that it's -the Cougar- looking as a facless no-name-car from Asia and it's annother example, how the American car-industry destroys well known names due recycling,. Just have a look to the original: /vehicle_113109-Mercury-Cougar-1967.html -- Last edit: 2010-07-20 16:41:19 |
