Could this be 2500 series? |

I see single rear wheels, it could be a 3500 Single RW, but thats speculative. We KNOW its at least a 2500. |

I will check this one out with St John Ambulance. There was a big fleet of these used nationwide - they have now been replaced. |

The 111 Emergency site might be helpful. http://www.111emergency.co.nz/ P.S. 111 Emergency calls them Chevrolet Sierras. The IMDB says the film was shot in Rotorua, so one of the Sierras on this page might be the one from the film: http://www.111emergency.co.nz/ExMidlandAmb.htm -- Last edit: 2010-04-19 21:09:26 |

I don't know why they call them Chevrolet Sierras. I've never hear that before. In any case, this is a 1989-1990 Chevrolet C-2500. It's definitely SRW. |

Looks like we have new model. Here's a for sale listing of one of them. https://www.trademe.co.nz/motors/trucks/other/auction-2013437705.htm All the one's I've seen online appear to be 1990 models, there are many pictures of these over on Flickr. -- Last edit: 2019-05-31 03:44:27 |

just when I thought it couldn't get worse .... Wonder if other markets used the Sierra name instead of C/K-Series.... Edit: ex-south island unit: http://www.111emergency.co.nz/D-E/exSIChevAmb.htm -- Last edit: 2019-05-31 03:57:45 |

Looks like they have some 1989s as well as a 1998. The [GMT880] models used the Silverado name at least. What should we call this, Chevrolet Sierra Ambulance C-2500 [GMT480]? |

I changed the year. Changed the name and then changed it back to C-2500. I agree with the model name being Sierra Ambulance and C-2500 in extra info. I wanted other admins to chime in before I changed the actual name. I didn't want to ninja edit anything without consensus from more members |
