I assume that this is a US scene. If so, the MG must be 1962-1973. In 1974 they had large black rubber bumpers to meet US requirements. It was dumb. If a big american car hits an MG ugly rubber bumpers will not make a whole lot of difference. ![]() |

I think I disagree, it looks more like an MG Midget to me..... The MG badge is in the centre of the grill on the car above. The MG B had it on the top sticking slightly proud on the chrome bumper versions I believe. /vehicle_21086-MG-B-1962.html -- Last edit: 2006-04-22 22:27:18 |

Yes Alexander.... agreed but I still don't know how to say its not a Midget? If that version of the MG B grill with the badge in the centre goes with the large orange side-repeater lamps then I'm still thinking it could be a Midget? |

They are fairly similar, that is true. Details that make me believe it is the MG B are the slightly more rounded shape of the engine hood and the three windscreen wipers, which, if I am not mistaken, were only used on the US version MG B. Thanks...I thought I spotted the three wipers, and did not understand why, but OK if they were on a US version. I'm happy with MG B. ![]() |

I'm fairly certain it's a Midget. The proportions of the car, the size of the headlights... |

It's a Midget 100% |

Yes - I'm voting Midget. This grille introduced Oct 69 during the 1966-74 Mk3 designation. Chrome screen pillars instead of black = Oct 70+ -- Last edit: 2014-11-04 18:29:59 |
