Looks like the Australian-built Austin Freeway (A60), but i'm not sure if this is a different locally produced version |

It's not a Siam di Tella, anyway; even the van and pickup versions of the 1500 had a Riley 4/68 face. Edit: Oops, I was wrong ... Siam di Tella Morris 1650 Fordor, 1966ish. http://www.aronline.co.uk/images/awindex_09.jpg -- Last edit: 2010-06-04 10:13:27 |

Good call. I'd only seen the SdTs with the Riley 'face' before too. ARO saves the day again! |

Morris 1650 Fordor, i suppose, by the frontal. Made by CIDASA in Bs. As. http://www.cocheargentino.com.ar/c/cidasa.htm |

So, list with Morris as the make or SIAM Di Tella? |

I'm not sure - Gomselmash11 might know - but I think that by this time they had dropped the SIAM-di Tella bit after CIDASA took them over, and CIDASA simply used the British names (Morris, MG, Riley), therefore Morris. |

Chris, in other picture appears: 1965 Morris 1650 Fordor [ADO9] -> /vehicle_286406-Morris-1650-ADO9-1965.html -- Last edit: 2010-06-15 08:11:46 |

Fair enough,thanks; that makes this a Morris 1650 Fordor too, which answers CougarTim's question. I'm not sure about including the Austin Drawing Office number, though - I commented on this on /vehicle_269420-Siam-di-Tella-1500-1959.html . |

For nothing Chris, the taxi of the picture, its a Siam di Tella indeed, but this car, as i said, its a Morris 1650 Fordor [ADO9] (made by CIDASA - results by the fusion of IKA and di Tella-) |
