Front panel between the headlights has had badge insignia removed and possibly replaced by a dummy grille, as available as an aftermarket accessory in the 1960s so that people could pretend that they had a proper front-engined car. Result is it's impossible to specify which type of Imp in the main photo, but thumbnail doesn't seem to show any paerticular side trim, so it's probably an Imp deluxe. |

It's Singer Chamois, Imp's twin. http://farm4.static.flickr.com/3206/2681712635_9340bbdf7f.jpg?v=0 |

No - not a Singer Chamois, as there is no badge on the front bonnet edge and the dummy grille is vertically edged, not slanting like the Chamois. I also think the emblem in the centre of the grille could be a blue RAC badge. So I still say it's probably an Imp deluxe. |
