I would also like to get hints, how to spot mack conventionals. :-/ martin |

The first thing you have to check is whether the cabin is in the middle or offset to the left, which splits them up into 'R' or 'D' Series. This one I believe is a DM600. |

This is an R600. The DM's did not have a cross brace on the LH rear view mirror and are mounted closer to the cab. |

I think that cab isn't offset. |

Definitely a Mack R600. No offset cab and as mentioned by Nightrider, the driver's side mirror would only be on a "C" brace close to the cab. The passenger side mirror would be mounted to a raised air intake with a cross brace, sticking out just beyond whatever body was mounted behind. Check out the mirrors on the DM600 from Maximum Overdrive. -- Last edit: 2019-11-08 19:10:59 |

R-400 to R-800 were available. Is there a way to identify one model over the others ? If not, it's probably better to just say R-Series. |
