They referred to it in the program as the "Chang'an Tiger Star", but I think you're right, it seems this US version is rebranded as make "Tiger Truck" and does not use the Chang'an name. It is also assembled in the US (Oklahoma). |

Probably use it around the grounds or private lot. It is not legal to drive on the road in our country. It is due to the safety crash standard is not up to the specs. |

legality varies by state, I know in some states these are registered as ATVs and are legal on all roads except interstates (I think SD is one of those states) I have also seen a lot of these mini-trucks for sale at local used car dealerships local but I am not sure about the legality of them here in NC |

Yeah, actually the point of this segment of the show was that these trucks and other LSVs (low-speed vehicles) are legal in many states, but IIHS tested this truck and the GEM e2 recently and they proved to be very dangerous. http://www.iihs.org/news/rss/pr052010.html |
