I used to watch this back when it first started. Glad to see it's still on TV and I now have it on DVR so I can keep up with the episodes. I even got to meet John Davis and Pat Goss at the 2006 DC Car Show. |
◊ 2007-11-24 18:32 |
This show goes a lot futher back than 1987. In fact I think it was started around 1980. |

I caught this episode on PBS today. -- Last edit: 2007-11-25 00:15:32 |

I thought so too. Trying to think back I thought it was about 83-85 when i first started watching this show. PBS website says 1981, so i'll change it. -- Last edit: 2007-11-25 02:21:48 |

Top Gear is better. |
◊ 2007-12-16 20:50 |
This show is not in competition with Top Gear. I watch Top Gear when I want a good laugh from Jeremy’s comical actions. Not when I want to know something about a car they feature. When I want to learn something tangible about a new or upcoming vehicle, I turn to Motorweek or other shows just like it. Motorweek is a lot more serious when it comes to testing new vehicles (they actually give detailed information about the cars they feature) -- Last edit: 2007-12-21 00:16:30 |

Like Fifth Gear, in my opinion a lot better in some features... |

I've been watching this show since the begining. They even featured my '60 Edsel as "Car of the Week" in episode 32 of season 19. I still have the videotape. Met Pat Goss at a car show a while back. |

There was an episode with the Acura 3.5RL. Don't know which episode or season, but it was sometime around MW's 15th anniversary. |

@baihandai1214 - Were your pictures from full episodes or stand-alone videos from their YouTube page? |
◊ 2020-09-11 18:39 |
@night cub This is a Youtube video, I took the picture myself |
◊ 2020-09-11 18:44 |
Yes, but was it from a full episode that they show on TV (they last 25 minutes or so) or from a shorter video just featuring the one car (usually 3-6 minutes long)? |
◊ 2020-09-11 18:54 |
It’s a short video. If there are a lot of cars in the long video, I can also try to update |

@The Unlucky Deloreon: Sorry but we have to be more strict when talking about loaded non-fiction pages like this. |
◊ 2022-10-17 19:07 |
Of note, the last few contributions I made to this page came from the Motorweek live streams. They are done by seasons, so that part is correct, however, they do not give episode numbers like they do for the 'Retro Review' uploads on their channel, and finding descriptions for these old episodes can be difficult. So, I just left the episode numbers as 'xx'. |

@baihandai1214 - Why are you not using episode numbers for recent shows? As I pointed out above, their website lists the episode numbers. https://video.mpt.tv/show/motor-week/ |
