I would say it is a Rover 12 [P2]. http://www.blogstudio.com/johncoxon/bigrovside.jpg http://www.blogstudio.com/johncoxon/back.jpg Rear doors are strange, though. Usually they are hinged at the C-column. -- Last edit: 2006-04-30 16:30:53 |

Silly me, not a Rover but a Wolseley Series II, possibly a 14/56 (1936). |

Grill/Badge doesn't look like Rover. Windscreen is completely different shape to Rover 12. Looks something like Morris 10/4. http://www.classiccarsforsale.co.uk/classic-car-page.php?carno=5985 ...too slow in posting. ![]() Sorry don't look like an oval Wolseley badge either? -- Last edit: 2006-04-30 18:59:36 |

![]() But you could be right that it is a Morris and not a Wolseley. I tend to forget that they shared the same body shell. Even though unusual for the Police force to use a Morris, I think that is the better choice. |

Three marques for one car ... a new record for me, I fear! ![]() I think I should take a break -- it is tea time anyhow. ![]() |

A separate listing has been added for the 1937 Wolseley 14/56 Series II registration 'AAP 764'. |
