Rear fender skirts were used all 3 years but they are missing here. That 2-toning would not match any '49 to '51 Mercury side trim pattern. Likely an altered period Mercury. |

Hey! I think you got it, Tim. And the Mercury body would be correct since it used rear-hinged back doors while the Ford had front hinged ones. (The rear bumper guards still look a bit different, though. Perhaps it's just the photo/distance.) -- Last edit: 2010-07-18 21:55:50 |
