It's a Porsche 911 slant nose (http://vista.pca.org/stl/911slant.htm). |

A heavily modified/customized (and ugly) Porsche 911 slantnose. Probably a home made/one off version from a standard coupe to copy Ruf or otherwise. This one looks like something from Miami Vice.. |

I have to disagree in that the car is most definitely not a Slantnose 911. The front windscreen of a slant nose is distincly the same as any 911, and this is definitely not a 911 windscreen. Also the rear track of the wheels is too far out for a 911, in that the axle is set back too far, and the wheels come out to far sideways. The rear brake vents in the wings are to close to the wheel arch, etc etc... More likely a modified Japanese car, or a modified independent car make, the likes of a Noble, MSV, or something similar... |

I agree with peekay64. The air intake in front of the rear wheels and the amount of space between the trailing edge of the door and the rear wheel on what is obviously a 2-seater makes me think this is a mid engined car - which would, of course, rule out a 911. |

This car is actually a heavily modified Porsche 914 the body kits were made by a company called Beach Boys Racing and this was their kit for the 914 called a Monterey. |
