So it's a 1970 1200 or 1500. The engine is replaced, as back then there ws no 1.6 liter for the Typ 1. I cannot say, from which company the Speedster-conversion is. There were some different manufacturers in the 80ies. |

No, it's not an US-model -it has British plates and it was filmed in Europe- and if a "Super Beetle", only a 1302, not a 1303, as it has the old metal-dashboard and no hump for the tachometer. |
