No. It's something different. 1970-1973 Toyota Corona Wagon (here exactly 1971) looks that: http://i715.photobucket.com/albums/ww154/SalsOGYotas/Mar27_0003.jpg -- Last edit: 2010-09-15 11:51:45 |

I drove this same car right from the showroom in Vancouver B.C. Burrard Toyota. We had it in our family from brand new in 1973 until 1987. It is a Toyota Corona Deluxe Station Wagon and didn't realize until today that it was so rare a car. It was a ball to drive and even better after I had the motor rebuilt and bored out. I got it up to 120 miles an hour ane have the speeding ticket to prove it. |

I still have my original repair manual I used to learn about automotives. This little car inspired me to work on every car I have owned since. I miss that little buzz bomb. Black fabric bench seats front and back. I had it painted custom Robins egg blue like the old 50's Tbirds. I bought chromed spoke wheels for it. It was a beauty. My friends would tease me that it looked like a little match box car when I drove it at night. It would sparkle. |

My engine was the 18 RC. 120 cu inch ( 1968 cc )After being bored out it would chirp from first to second and this was tree on the tree automatic. I can answer any questions on this car definitely. |

The original colour was T 1349 Diana Olive. My dad loved the colour, but to a teenager it wasn't cool. What did I know I should have kept it original and garage kept it. It would have been nice to have now with gas so high. Here it's $ 1.30 a litre. Ouch. Four cylinders would be nice right about now. |
