But I think it is a Deluxe: http://www.allpar.com/photos/kaiser/1951_Kaiser_Deluxe.jpg Kaiser Manhattan had a slightly different grille, and, as far as I know, it appeared only in the '52 model year.

Commander 57 ◊ 2010-10-02 01:46	Yes, Manhattan name not used until 1952. Actually, directly from the front I don't believe you can tell a Kaiser Special from a Kaiser Deluxe. Would need to see if it had a wide chrome side trim panel. Changing this to simply 1951 Kaiser. -- Last edit: 2010-10-02 15:31:58
