That´s not a Audi 100 Avant. It´s an Audi A6 Avant (C4, 1994-1997). Well, actually it´s a facelift of the Audi 100. But it´s an Audi A6 Avant. |

No, it's a 100 Avant. Look at rear lights and bumpers (even if painted) |

Obviously a very faked police-car. It's more than unlikely, that a nearly 20 year old car is still in use there. It can happen with rarely used transporters or buses, but not with daily used patrol-cars. And absolutely unlikely, that such an old police-car would get the new blue/silvermetallic colour-sheme plus the new (2008+) police-plates. ![]() |

Yes, indeed. But most of the RTL-viewers are not such big car experts (the most don´t even own a car), so the producers thought that this would do it, as it shows up only a few seconds and gets crashed then. |

I heared, that all the Police cars are leased and only stay for 3-5 years in the police fleet -- Last edit: 2012-04-18 14:29:00 |

No, not all. The patrol cars yes, but other, background offices keep older vehicles. For example their big buses -mainly Setra ![]() When the cars were brought back and sold by the leasing-companies, all police-stuff will be removed, lights, sirens, radio sets, the coloured inscription-tapes (since many years they have taped colours and aren painted any more). The only visible leftover for the next owner are the holes in the roof from the bluelight-bar. |
