I agree with DynaMike, it appears to be a Maybach SW-38 Limousine. The radiator grille looks close to that of a Horch indeed, but at a closer look you can see the Maybach badge on it... |

Astute! Only a single prototype of this car was made, and it was in 1938, not 1937. Intended as an executive limousine for the Austrian government, canceled due to, let's say, unfortunate circumstances... https://upload.wikimedia.org/wikipedia/commons/3/35/Gräf%26Stift_C12.jpg If we can find out which collection this car was in, the rest might solve themselves. |
