Origin USA! |

Uh, why? Even if the car wasn't manufactured in France, it is from a french company and since blueprints of a car are usually drawn up at the manufacturers offices, the origin is correct. |

This is incorrect and innecessary. See the case of the argentinian Falcon or the australians Falcon's made by Ford, a brand from USA, but with other origins. |

Neither the two-door Sedan and the Convertible were built in France. Not only the thick bumpers are different, also a lot of the interior (same with Chrysler/Dodge/Plymouth Horizon, compared to the original Simca, also the US-made Rabbit to the Golf I) and maybe some technical stuff, too It's really ridicoulous to ignore these facts, but list the Iranian made Renault 5 ( /vehicles_make-Saipa_model-5.html ) as "origin Iran", altough just a few tiny details are different to the French R5 (much less than at the US-version "Le Car"). If we look closer for other cars, we will find a plenty more examples... |
