It is a close relative of the GMC CCKW: Studebaker US6x4 U-7, 2½-ton 6x4 Cargo (1942-45). It is quite a rare find, as almost all trucks of that kind were sent to Russia as part of the lend-lease programme. |

Interesting fact is the Russians reused the Studebaker cabs in the cold war. The cab was split down the middle, wided approximately 24 inches, rewelded and placed on a tank chassis. Used as Radar surveilence vehicles.
