I think Fiat 126. |

Indeed. Pretty popular car in Turkey it seems. |

Terrible mongrel. Probably 1985+ Polski Fiat 126p due to bigger instrument cluster and newer bumpers. |

Why mongrel? Looks like FL. ![]() -- Last edit: 2010-11-15 14:49:05 |

The bumper is for sure not original, just have look on the front panel. |

Google shows many TR registered cars with badges typical for cars sold by the FIAT and some with "650 E" labels (used only in the FSM's 126p), but there is less of them. I think it will be more safe to set the brand to "Fiat" in this case. (PS. There weren't side slats in so called "standard" version, even if it already had the FL's interior, though it rather wasn't case of the export cars). EDIT: thought about it one more time - since 1988 FIAT sales network sold Bises, so more likely it is PF 126p exported on its own by FSM. EDIT 2: and badging of this mint "Turkish" car: /vehicle.php?id=1385758 (no "126p" badge) suggests it was even FSM 650 E there. FSM printed "FSM 650" brochures in 1980s and it was one of 126p's alt. names back then. -- Last edit: 2020-05-12 14:31:06 |
