None of the Opel models sold in the USA prior to 1976 ever had any Buick badging on them at all though they were commonly refered to as "Buick's Opel" in advertising. When GM stopped importing the German built cars and replaced them with an Isuzu built version of the GM T-car (Isuzu Gemini ne Opel Kadett C), those cars were badged "Buick/Opel" : http://familyhistorysites.com/books/cars/buick/opel/1978-owners-manual.jpg |
