Take '72 out of the range. Note small, horizontal back-up lamp lenses in the taillamp panels. The '72's had larger, square ones. |

I must revise my statement. The change occurred with the '71, not the '72 model year. The '70's had the small back up lenses while the '71's and '72's had the larger, square ones. 1970 Nova brochure: Link to "www.oldcarbrochures.com" 1971 Nova brochure: Link to "www.oldcarbrochures.com" Note difference in the back-up lamps size and shape.
