Would you happen to know why a lot of movies use that name acme for construction company’s?

from what i know , Acme would pop up almost at the beginning of every company listings ( like phone books ) but i don't know if it has any connections about the use in movies or not

But to me will be associated to the Looney Tunes universe for as long as i live.. ;)

Just read the origin of it.. Wile E would had catched that bird a long time ago if they actually lived up to the real definition.. :lol:
