I think it is a Mercedes, but I am not yet sure. Here is an extra picture from the lost scenes: ![]() |

There are two(!) Rumpler Tropfenwagen flanking the car in question in the small pic. |

Seems a Hispano SUiza, better than a Merc. |

I would be amazed to see a Hispano-Suiza in a German film from 1925/26. There is one that is fairly similar looking, but has a flat radiator grille, like all the H-S of that time. http://www.lahispano-suiza.com/imatges/mgaf0105.jpg |

I agree with Alexander, the radiator grill shape looks very like Mercedes-Benz ones... Bodycoach work is certainly not MB but specific |

I found another make with the same radiator shape==> latest models (post WW I ) of De Dion-Bouton See below, could it be same basis with "coupé de Ville" body (Guiet for ex.) ![]() -- Last edit: 2006-06-25 09:32:35 |

Could it be a Bugatti? |

Not Bugatti or Mercedes - looks like a Guiet body though. Could it be a big Panhard?? |
◊ 2007-02-15 14:35 |
Sorry, but definitively not a Panhard. Their radiators weren't that quare and there would have been a S-PL-S logo clearly visible on it. |

what about an Adler? Se the wheels.. |

The DeDion actually makes sense, particularly with those closed wheels. And th grill looks like some modification was applied to mke it look 'more futuristic'... |

I think it could b a Farman. They built a white towncar that was used in their advertising. |
