Between the real Bandit car (the Trans Am - /vehicle_2514-Pontiac-Firebird-Trans-Am-1977.html) and this Dodge Stealth, it’s pretty obvious which one would win when racing each other just by looking at them. Never mind the horspower level of each car. |

Any Dodge Stealth R/T, especially with the twin turbo, would smoke an non-modded late '70s Trans Am any day of the week. |

Actually, according to Wikipedia, the Dodge Stealth has an engine range from SOHC 12v V6 to DOHC 24v V6 twin turbo, a peak power range from 119 kW (162 PS; 160 hp) at 5500 rpm to 221 kW (300 PS; 296 hp) at 6000 rpm, and a peak torque range from 250 N·m (184 lb·ft) at 4000 rpm to 415 N·m (306 lb·ft) at 2500 rpm, and the 1977 Trans Am has an engine of 231 cu in (3.8 L) V6, 301 cu in (4.9 L) Pontiac V8, 305 cu in (5.0 L) Chevrolet V8, 350 cu in (5.7 L) Pontiac V8, 400 cu in (6.6 L) Pontiac V8, or 403 cu in (6.6 L) Oldsmobile V8. I say the Trans Am is the winner. |

I agree with jnoble. Twin Turbo Stealth 0-60 under 6 seconds. Not even the biggest engine Trans Am could match that. |
