The bus was originally designed by Mercedes, known as MB 100. Later it was produced in South-Africa and Korea. There ist was sold under Sangyong and Mercedes. Now it is still build by Shanghai Motors and sold all over the world. It looks quite new and the series is from 2010/11, so i would say Shanghai Motors. The long wheel base is called MB140. It is sold under the name "SHAC Istana" |

This is the original Mercedes-Benz model. The SsangYong version, the Istana, has different styling. /vehicle_251644-SsangYong-Istana.html |

SHAC Istana: http://www.chinacarforums.com/forum/showthread.php?t=3903 Front doesn't look right. Ssangyong has clear indicator lenses based on pictures I've found so I back MB. EDIT: Missed Gag Halfrunt's earlier post which basically says the same as me. -- Last edit: 2011-01-21 21:01:48 |

So it is the Spanish one and not the Korean one, right? We have one of the Spanish ones listed as made in Brazil, so I guess that it means that the model was sold in South-America. |

Agree, built in Brazil (with a very poor quality). Its the spanish, the korean have other front. |
