1935 Packard Twelve ( Twelfth Series Model 1208 Limousine on the 144 inches wheelbase , built august 1934 to august 1935 ).It still has the straight radiator shell of the twelfth series .As from the fourteenth series (1936) there was a 5° forward slant of the radiator shell. One of Stalin's preferred state cars.

1935 , not 1937

I don't know, guys.
1937 might be right. The '35 and '36 models in this series had rear-hinged front doors and this one has front-hinged ones.
Also, the bumper brackets appear to be of the '37 style.

The reason I reckon it is a 1937 car (fifteenth series) is that the 1935 and 1936 big series car all had the big weights on the ends of the bumpers. Maybe this car has had the bumpers replaced?

That's what I meant by "bumper brackets".
Since the weight of evidence seems to favor 1937, I am changing pending any additional info.

We also need to change the chassis designation. I guess it is the longest wheelbase (144") series 1508 Touring Limousine - body style 1035.

Isn't it still existing? It looks like Stalin's car and somewhere there were rumours/stories, that this (ore other) official cars were still alive.

P.S. One of Mao Tsedong's official cars, a Mercedes 600 [M100] was restored and is still owned by a Volkswagen-engineer, living nearby Wolfsburg. He found it and picked it up in a poor, knackered condition in a backwood corner of the FAW Automotive plant.

The definitive mark that this is a 1937 is the chrome fender well support bar (Packard never used the term 'sidemount') which is visible at the upper right of the spare tire. ONLY 1937 used this configuration.
